OPEN TO LEAD FRONTEND / AI ENGINEERING ROLES

Shashank Dhanakshirur

Lead Frontend Engineer, shipping production AI agents

I build production AI agents on top of complex engineering software: natural-language control over 3D simulation and analytics products, the RAG pipelines behind them, and the multi-agent tooling that builds and tests them.

What I've shipped

Production agents, a live 3D product, and the front-end craft underneath them.

SHIPPED

Conversational Analytics Agent

A conversational data-science agent with 70+ natural-language tools.

Ask for an analysis in plain English and it builds the thing: filters, visualizations, whole dashboard pages, and export to PowerPoint, Word, Excel, CSV and interactive HTML. Built on GPT-5 tool-calling with parallel calls, and RAG over user files and a vector store.

LIVE

SportsAtlas

A living atlas of world sport. Spin a 3D globe and find matches happening right now.

Live games glow on the real cities where they are played, so instead of scrolling a table you spin the Earth. Self-driven and deployed, with a Match Center, a geography game mode, SEO discovery pages and structured data, shipped on Vercel.

How I got here

Fourteen years of front-end craft, pointed at a new target.

  1. 2021 to present

Lead Front End Software Engineer · Xfinity Inc (dba D3VIEW)

Shipped a conversational data-science agent and scaled the 3D workbench agent to ~100 tools. Wrote the agent system templates and prompt contracts plus the results renderer. Added a first-class AI-agent worker type to the visual automation builder. Set frontend architecture across a suite of automotive-CAE web apps, took full ownership of the BabylonJS crash-simulation viewer, and mentor engineers.

  2. 2016 to 2021

Front End Software Developer · Xfinity Inc (dba D3VIEW)

Extended a BabylonJS/WebGL viewer for 150+ MB crash-simulation models: pedestrian head-impact overlays (FMVSS / Euro-NCAP), RBF mesh morphing baked off the main thread on web workers, and multi-material picking. Hand-built the 16k+ line Canvas node editor, and built a Backbone + D3 v5 platform with 40+ chart types.

  3. 2015 to 2016

M.S. Computer Science · Binghamton University (SUNY)

State University of New York. Graphics and interactive systems.

  4. 2012 to 2014

    Software Engineer · Faichi Solutions

Delivered and maintained the front end for 1,800+ websites including top university journals, with cross-browser XHTML, CSS and jQuery. Ran training and wrote team documentation.

  5. 2008 to 2012

    B.E. Electronics & Communications · Pune University

    Pune, India.
